2026 y January 16 marks a new beginning in the history of Marijampolės pieno konservai as we became part of the VILVI Group. Following the acquisition, the Group has become one of the largest dairy processing groups in the Baltic States, comprising 7 companies and employing approximately 1,400 people.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that our core business activities will remain unchanged – we will continue producing canned milk and various types of milk powders. In addition, we plan to fully utilize the largest butter production line in the Baltic region and increase resources dedicated to product portfolio development.
The company will be systematically integrated into the VILVI Group structure in order to efficiently leverage economies of scale and operational synergies. We will operate in line with VILVI’s values, high standards working style, and corporate culture.

UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” started operating in 1977. Since 2001, it has become a private Lithuanian capital company. It is one of the largest and most capable milk processing companies in Lithuania, actively implementing the latest technologies and striving for the highest product quality. We are the only manufacturer of canned milk in the Baltic States. We carry out production in accordance with the requirements of certified food safety, quality management and environmental management systems. This is confirmed by the FSSC 22000, ISO 14001 certificates. UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” operates as a socially responsible company, which was positively assessed during the social responsibility and ethical business audit. Since June 2017 joined the ranks of the international non-profit organization SEDEX. Today, with 45 years of experience, we are a reliable supplier of dairy products to foreign partners and a respected and well-known manufacturer domestically.
Natural raw milk used for manufacturing of the products is obtained from Lithuanian farmers.
Production capacities per month:
– milk powder up to 2350 tonnes,
– canned milk up to 10 million cans,
– butter up to 1500 tonnes,
– pasteurized cream up to 3000 tonnes.
Number one priority for the company is export ant its development. Long shelf life of the main products (milk powder, canned milk, butter) enables conveniently transport them to any part of the world.
Nearly 90% of the production is sold into exports (European Union, African and Asian countries, USA, Cuba, Hong Kong and other remote corners of the world).
All of the products produced, meet the legal requirements of Lithuania, the European Union, the Customs Union and other foreign countries. Other specific dietary needs of customers (like Halal) are successfully fulfilled as well.
Product safety assurance activities are carried out in accordance with FSSC 22000 standard. In order to minimize the impact on the environment, the company operates in accordance with ISO 14001.
The Company is a constant participant at International food industry exhibitions all over the world. This is one of the ways to establish relations with potential customers.
