UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” started operating in 1977. Since 2001, it has become a private Lithuanian capital company. It is one of the largest and most capable milk processing companies in Lithuania, actively implementing the latest technologies and striving for the highest product quality. We are the only manufacturer of canned milk in the Baltic States. We carry out production in accordance with the requirements of certified food safety, quality management and environmental management systems. This is confirmed by the FSSC 22000, ISO 14001 certificates. UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” operates as a socially responsible company, which was positively assessed during the social responsibility and ethical business audit. Since June 2017. joined the ranks of the international non-profit organization SEDEX. Today, with 45 years of experience, we are a reliable supplier of dairy products to foreign partners and a respected and well-known manufacturer domestically.

UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” is the only canned milk producer in Baltic region. The structure of the company’s processes ensures large scale production volumes. The technologies used by the company allow for ensuring, that the quality of the products meet the legal requirements of Lithuania, European Union, Customs Union and other foreign countries.
Natural raw milk used for manufacturing of the products is obtained from Lithuanian farmers.
Production capacities per month:
– milk powder up to 2350 tonnes,
– canned milk up to 10 million cans,
– butter up to 1500 tonnes,
– pasteurized cream up to 3000 tonnes.

UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” is the largest exporting milk processing company in Lithuania, but the company has set a goal to further increase its export volumes.

Export and its development are one of the company’s top priorities. The long storage periods of the main products (milk powder, canned milk, butter) allow them to be transported to any country in the world, so as much as 90% of the production is sold outside Lithuania. Our main customers are Australia, Portugal and other European Union countries, African and Asian countries, including Hong Kong, North and South American countries, including Cuba.

UAB “Marijampolės pieno konservai” produces products that meet the legal requirements of the Republic of Lithuania, the European Union, the Customs Union and other foreign countries. Other specific nutritional needs of customers (Halal, Kosher, etc.) are also successfully met.

The company has implemented an Integrated Food Safety (HACCP), Quality and Environmental Management System, which has been certified since 2005.

Product safety and quality assurance activities are carried out in accordance with FSSC 22000. In order to reduce environmental impact, the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard are met.

Microbiological, chemical and physical indicators of raw materials, technological processes and finished products, as well as sensory tests, are performed in two certified laboratories of the company. Environmental hygiene control is also carried out. Both laboratories successfully participate in international comparative research programs.

Quality service and laboratory employees annually improve their qualifications by participating in training courses, Lithuanian and international forums.
